Welcome to Turbotime.
Through these doors our team works to service, repair, or hot-rod your Subaru. We take pride in being able to build fast cars. Our factory-trained technicians will also service and repair your Subaru better than the dealership.
Need tricky or complicated repairs? No problem, our staff can handle it.
Our small shop offers a personal touch with a focus on two things. First, we focus on saving you money. Next, we encourage you to stay involved with your project from start to finish. We treat you the same way we’d like to be treated. Check out our reviews.
Repair and Installation
The Repair and installation bay is where we do most of the work at the shop.
Our lift handles everything from simple oil changes to major engine and transmission projects.
Our Subaru factory-trained technicians and industry-standard tools make fast work of any job. Including Subaru scheduled maintenance like 30k and 60k services, timing belts, and brakes. See our list of services.
The Clean Room is where we final assemble motors. Parts are washed many times before they are brought inside the clean room. This room receives a full cleaning after each engine build.
We use top-quality digital torque wrenches, Mitutoyo measuring instruments, and Subaru OEM specialty tools.
Making sure your motor is assembled the correct way is our top priority.
The Machine Shop
The Machine shop is where the dirty stuff happens. We use various tools to machine Subaru-focused parts for customers.
We focus on quality machine work specific to our customers and company focus. Keeping our machining in-house helps us save you money!
We offer finished parts, engine components, and complete engine packages. If you have a need for something we can produce, please do not hesitate to ask.
The Fabrication bay is a large single bay with a hydraulic lift. We can fabricate exhausts, turbo kits, suspensions, intercoolers, and anything else your project requires.
We have complete engineering capabilities in house. We can also model all parts in 3D before starting the fabrication process.
We use outside CNC laser and CNC hydrojet cutting for most custom designed flanges and high volume components. We also use high end Esab TIG welders with pulse technology.
Custom fabrication may cost more than buying a part from China. But when no one makes what you need its well worth the expense.
TurboTime started out as a small niche specialty shop for Syclones and Typhoons. It operated out of the basement and focused on retailing parts via the internet. Owner Eric Rue was unhappy with the lack of aftermarket support for the GM performance trucks. As time went by, most of the manufacturers for Syclone and Typhoon parts went out of business. This created a huge void for parts and support.
In response, Eric began tuning trucks and designing/fabricating parts that were otherwise unavailable. Eric teamed up with a retired engine builder to expand his offerings to include high-end custom engines.
Due to the limited number of these trucks, TurboTime began to branch out into other vehicle marquees.
Ryan Davis came on board at that point. With Ryan came a wealth of Subaru knowledge, experience and customers. TurboTime then shifted its focus to the Subaru market, and continues to focus on Subaru today.
